Ineffective information sharing and bad communication between humans is a frequently quoted reason for a project failure. While the human factor is most critical here, the situation can be greatly improved by means of collaboration toolkits that integrate geographically distributed teams.

GridwiseTech has worked with products and has often developed our own code for collaboration. We have a history of working with portals and often suggest integrated solutions, where communication applications are embedded in one Web or Grid portal, side by side with professional, industry-specific intefaces.

Additionally, the concept of a Virtual Organization (VO) can be deployed in those interfaces that require various access levels to information for various groups of users, sometimes working for different organizations.
