GridwiseTech was approached by Philips Research, in connection with their fundamental research program, including the simulation of potential new technology.

Designing a new electronic device, tighter integrated circuits or chips often requires complex and CPU-intensive simulations that can make use of distributed processing capabilities. Spreading such tasks into a distributed software architecture at some levels allows for greater scalability that is also an attribute of modern electronics circuit designs.

Data access management and security policies can prove complex when sharing with partners and third parties is needed. With proper resource management, processing can be made always available to priority users while distributed security policies can guard access.
