Fast and easy sharing. See it in Barcelona

How to share digital assets effectively and securely? AdHoc is the answer. Pawel Plaszczak, the President of GridwiseTech, is speaking on it at the Enabling Grids for E-Science (EGEE) ‘09 conference in Barcelona, Spain.

GridwiseTech unveils AdHoc, a light-weight alternative to Virtual Organizations to prove that effective sharing of distributed assets might be easy. AdHoc simplifies the resource management. It can be implemented within any organization to exchange data, applications and machines or between institutions to join forces for more efficient results. It brings together the Web 2.0 user-friendliness and the complex capabilities of Grid.

EGEE '09 conference summarizes the EGEE project, which is the largest multi-disciplinary grid infrastructure in the world, uniting computing resources from over 120 organizations. AdHoc, will be presented twice:

- in the EGEE Business Workshop on Wednesday, 23rd of September (Barceló Sants Hotel, 12:15, room Barcelona C)
- within The Usage of EDGeS track on Thursday 24th of September (Barceló Sants Hotel, 12:40, room Sants).

We are looking to partner with research institutions interested in joining the AdHoc project.
